Rothbury Traditional Music Festival is a small, friendly, community-run festival set in the heart of Northumberland, in the beautiful Coquet Valley. Over the last four decades it has established a unique atmosphere, drawing musicians, dancers and poets from throughout the country and beyond to spend a weekend sharing music and experiencing Northumbrian traditions. The programme of events over the weekend includes a ceilidh on Friday, free outdoor stage on Saturday, street entertainment, workshops, sessions, competitions and concerts. Most of the festival is free but the Ceilidh Dance and two concerts listed below are ticketed. See the website for more detail
